On Saturday, 17th May, I had the privilege of joining a dynamic speaker panel at the Live Well event organised by AllBright, the renowned members’ club dedicated to supporting and celebrating women in business.

The session, titled “The Experts’ Guide to Fertility,” brought together three nutrition and health specialists, including myself, to explore a topic that is both deeply personal and increasingly relevant: the critical role of nutrition and wellbeing for women preparing to conceive and those undergoing fertility treatment.

Our panel discussion was engaging, thought-provoking, and educational — offering attendees a science-backed perspective on how lifestyle choices can impact fertility. One of the most lively parts of the conversation centred on the effects of alcohol consumption and processed foods on egg health and fertility rates. Many women were surprised to learn just how much these factors can influence reproductive outcomes and what practical changes can be made to optimise fertility potential.

The audience brought fantastic energy and thoughtful questions, sparking meaningful conversations not only during the session but also afterward as women shared their personal journeys and sought expert advice.
